Environmental sustainability

IDEXX’s culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and entrepreneurial spirit have always been applied to the issue of sustainability, especially as we consider the impact our products and operations have on people and the environment.

To help combat the threat of global climate change, IDEXX has developed an environmental sustainability framework that focuses in four areas:

  • Climate Adaptation & Resiliency
  • Circular Economy & Product Stewardship
  • Sustainable Packaging
  • Responsible Internal Waste & Water Use

As a part of this strategy, we have created environmental goals that are supported by teams across our company. In pursuit of these goals, we have completed initiatives and started multiyear projects to address GHG emissions, improve environmental data, and reduce plastic in our products and packaging, laying the groundwork for long-term impact reduction. Business continuity

Maintaining and sharing business continuity plans and best practices are critical to our mutual success, which is why business continuity planning is an important part of the supplier business review process at IDEXX.

IDEXX seeks suppliers that have well-documented business continuity plans that are regularly updated, tested, and shared to ensure they meet all of our resiliency and agility requirements. Once you become a supplier, we ask that you communicate identified risks and their potential impact to people or critical business processes and assets as soon as practical.
